Hey loves! So we recently had a conversation about head wraps, why aren't they more popular? We're both naturalistas and are familiar with how much of a hassle it can be to maintain open hair. There's the Bantu knot struggles, flexi rods to be set, wash and go which can only work for a certain number of days; all of which becomes frustrating after a couple of weeks or even days. That's where head wraps come in to save the day & a lot of your time.

The best part about head wraps is that just one piece can be styled in a multiple ways. That really comes through for you on lazy days or when your hair situation is just is not the vibe you were going for. Like sometimes, you want to deep condition your hair all day, but can’t pull up where you need to be looking some type of way. So we came up with a solution to these likkle struggles.

We collaborated with the lovely ladies at Murahaba and Dee, who's an incredibly talented makeup up artist, to put together a couple of looks to show you guys just how much you can slay a head wrap with the right makeup looks. MAJOR KEY: the Murahaba head wraps are cut to perfect dimensions allowing us to achieve these looks without literally any practice. We just played around with them on and voila! Another great thing about head wraps is that you don't need to be super tidy with them, because the look comes together as you go and so you can make it look as interesting as you like.

We hope you’ll love the looks we came up with. Leave us a comment on what you think or tag us on your wrap looks on IG, we’d love to see what you guys come up with.

Love and Light.
